The Virginia Youth Symphony Orchestra (VYSO) at the New Colony Theater
This NEW venue located in Olde Towne Portsmouth, has a distinguished and eclectic history. It was formerly a YMCA, built in 1854, serving as a Vaudeville theater, an Armed Forces hospital (at the end of WWI), a movie theater (as the 'Colony Theater'), a boxing rink, a nightclub and a dinner theater.
